About

My name is Migena Ramadani, and I am originally from a small city in North Macedonia, though I was raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, which I now proudly call home. Growing up in a hardworking family that owns and operates a local restaurant, I learned the value of dedication, communication, and community from an early age. Working at the restaurant for many years has taught me how to manage responsibilities, connect with people, and stay calm under pressure, all skills that have shaped who I am today.

I am currently a senior at Indiana State University, majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and I’m looking forward to graduating in December. Through my studies and professional experiences, I’ve developed a passion for storytelling, whether it’s through crafting meaningful messages, building relationships, or helping brands and organizations share their voice with the world.

In addition to my academic journey, I have gained valuable professional experience through my internship at the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, where I serve as a Lilly Endowment Intern. In this role, I assist with communication projects and community outreach, conduct stakeholder surveys for the Legacy Album project, and update website content to enhance engagement and accuracy. This experience has strengthened my leadership, organizational, and networking skills while deepening my understanding of how strategic communication supports nonprofit success.
